The Neuropsychology Clinic offers evaluations/assessments in the following areas:
The evaluation generally involves multiple components, which include an in-depth intake interview, behavioral observations, answering questions verbally, receiving a physical test, and completing self-assessment questionnaires, checklists and surveys.
Testing involves taking paper and pencil and computerized tests and answering questions.
The time required for an assessment depends on the problem being assessed. In general, several hours (4+ hours) are needed to complete the assessment. Some tests will be easy, whereas others will be more difficult. The important thing is to do your best.
Bring your glasses and hearing aids if you use them.
We understand that life can get in the way of scheduled appointments. We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Otherwise, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
